To Our Patients:


We hope this letter finds you and your family in the best of health. It is with excitement that we inform you we can now see you at the clinic for comprehensive care.


While many things have changed, our commitment to patient and staff safety remains of utmost importance at the clinic; infection control has always been and will continue to remain top priority. We continue to follow all recommendations and guidelines issued by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (RCDSO), Infection Prevention and Control Canada (IPAC) and Public Health authorities. Our protocols have been modified to ensure our staff and patients are following the best safe practices as we return to the dental clinic during this global pandemic.


We thank you for your patience and support as we navigate through these challenging times. Currently, we are still prioritizing emergency and urgent care only. However, you can always call the office where our administration team will continue to assist you.


You can expect to see some changes upon your next visit to the office:

  1. We will ask you some screening questions on the phone and again when you arrive for your appointment. If you are showing any signs of illness including fever or cough, please call the office to reschedule your appointment.
  2. When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car or outside until your appointment time. A staff member will meet you at the front door at your appointment time to allow you entry to the office. We are scheduling appointments strategically to maintain physical distancing. Please arrive on time since we may not be able to accommodate late arrivals; your appointment may need to be rescheduled in this case.
  3. Please wear a mask and leave all personal belongings at home. We request that you arrive alone as only scheduled patients and necessary caregivers may enter the clinic.
  4. We will take your temperature with a touchless thermometer and ask that you use hand sanitizer upon entry after completing the screening process. We ask that you please refrain from touching surfaces in the clinic as much as possible.
  5. You will notice our waiting area will no longer have abundant seating to maintain physical distancing. There will be no magazines or reading material available as these items are difficult to disinfect.
  6. You will be led by a team member directly to the treatment room, after completing the Covid-19 Pandemic Emergency Dental Risk form.
  7. You will notice some new barriers at reception and the operatories. We will also be wearing some additional personal protective equipment for our protection and yours. You will be asked to remove your mask only when we are ready for treatment in the operatory.
    All of these additional procedures are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients and our staff.
